Pennsylvania State Police are reporting fewer DUI arrests during this year’s New Year’s celebration. Troopers say 254 drivers were arrested for DUI in the commonwealth from December 31st through January 2nd. That’s a decline of more than 70 from 2024. State Police said troopers also issued over a thousand fewer speeding citations over the New Year’s travel period, but close to 90 more crashes were reported.
