A Williamsburg woman has been charged after a two year investigation, into the death of her elderly mother.  State police say 37-year-old Colleen Sayegh is accused of not properly caring for her mother, resulting in the elderly woman being hospitalized with sores and open wounds and later dying.  Police report they were first contacted by hospital staff in 2022 after the victim had been taken to Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in Roaring Spring for treatment.  The staff had reported the elderly woman was suffering from severe dehydration, diabetes, extremely low blood pressure, open wounds, and was covered in urine and feces.  The woman had also showed signs of a stroke, and was later flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.  An autopsy later showed the woman died of severe infection caused by the open wounds found on her body.  Sayegh was arraigned this week and has been charged with neglecting care of a dependent person, involuntary manslaughter, and other related counts.  She is currently in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
