Macy’s Inc., announced yesterday that they were closing 66 of their stores nationwide, including the store located at the Logan Valley Mall in Altoona. The closures are expected to begin during the first quarter of this year. Officials with the company say the closings are aimed at returning Macy’s to a more profitable sales growth moving forward.
