A Cambria County man convicted of killing an ex-girlfriend, was sentenced to life in prison without parole yesterday.  Last November, 50-year-old Christopher Rowe was found guilty in the 2016 death of his former girlfriend, Kaylene Roedel.  After four hours of deliberation, the jury convicted Rowe of all the charges he was facing, including first degree murder.  State Attorney General Michelle Henry said, “This defendant ended one life and devastated many others with the premeditated and cold-hearted killing of the mother of his child.”  She further added that she hoped his conviction would provide a sense of justice for Kaylene’s family and friends.
