Fewer Firearms Confiscated At Pittsburgh International In 2024 Versus 2023

The TSA is reporting a decrease in the number of firearms confiscated at Pittsburgh International in 2024 versus the previous year.  Forty-two guns were collected at the airport’s checkpoints last year.  That is two fewer than collected in 2023.  Still, more firearms were collected at Pittsburgh International checkpoints last year than at any other airport in the state.  Philadelphia International Airport was second on the list with 42 weapons confiscated.
