Hope Fire Company #2 of Philipsburg, and Chester Hill Hose Company of Chester Hill have announced their official intent to merge. The merger will bring the Chester Hill Hose Company into the operations of the Hope Fire Company. In a prepared statement by the Hope Fire Company, they said by combining assets, the merger will strengthen the capabilities of the organization and create a more efficient operation.
