A volunteer within the Huntingdon County School District’s music program has been removed, after school district officials learned that 27-year-old Brett Leavelle was charged in Cumberland County with child pornography. Reportedly, police recovered more than 100 files from his electronic devices during their investigation, which began last April. Leavelle was arraigned last Thursday, and released on unsecured bail. The Huntingdon County School District says as soon as they were made aware of the charges, Leavelle was removed immediately. The district assured parents that Leavell was not left alone with students, and that staff was always present.
