Geese found dead at a pond at Gettysburg College have tested positive for bird flu. The dead geese were discovered near a pond earlier this month. The announcement comes one day after the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture confirmed the first bird flu outbreak in the state at a poultry farm in Lehigh County. Officials say the public health risk related to bird flu is low, but the college students are still being urged to stay away from the pond.
