Officials are investigating the death of a convicted Philadelphia murderer who was found dead in his cell last week at SCI Somerset. Officials with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections say 38-year-old Josue Quino was reportedly found unresponsive in his cell last Thursday. He had been at the prison since last November and was serving a 20-40 year sentence for third-degree murder, after stabbing a woman to death on Christmas morning of 2019, in Philadelphia County. Both the Somerset County Coroner’s Office and state police are investigating.
