Bellwood-Antis Approves Contracts To Repair Fire Damage

bellwood-2

The Bellwood-Antis School District  has approved an over 23-thousand dollar contract with Stiffler McGraw in Hollidaysburg for engineering and  architectural services, and an over 4-thousand dollar contract with Bettwy Systems of Duncansville, as the district moves forward to repair burned portions of the high school damaged by an act of arson in December.  Reportedly, the cost of the repairs will be covered by the district’s insurance.  A former Bellwood-Antis High School student, 19-year-old Elias Alley, was charged with arson after he allegedly broke into the school, and used a garbage bag to set fire in the wrestling room.
