Winter weather is causing havoc across the region and the Commonwealth. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning until 7 this evening for Blair, Cambria and Huntingdon Counties. Blowing and drifting snow has also prompted PennDOT to issue speed restrictions to 45 MPH in our area due to the high winds, and a blizzard warning has been put into effect in Somerset County until 3 this afternoon. Officials are saying people in Somerset County should expect near zero-visibility at times, as wind gusts, as high as 65 MPH, could occur. Plus more snow is expected, as a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Western Pennsylvania.
