Thon weekend will take place beginning this Friday through Sunday at the Bryce Jordon Center in State College. Over 700 dancers will be on their feet for the 46 hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon. This year’s theme is “A Home for Hope.” The Penn State student run philanthropy has raised more than 236 million dollars for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. The event will start at 4 p.m. this Friday and end at 4 p.m. on Sunday. This is the 53rd year for the event.
