The U.S. Department of Agriculture is confirming the presence of Avian Flu in Butler County. Officials say the illness has impacted roughly 600 chickens at a non-commercial farm in the Cranberry area. The current outbreak has affected more than two-million birds across Pennsylvania in the last 30 days, according to the USDA. Health experts say transmission of bird flu from animals to humans is very rare.
