Historic Fallingwater House Undergoing Repairs For Leaks

falling-waters

Pennsylvania’s historic Fallingwater house is undergoing repairs to fix leaks to the structure.  The home was designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright and built in the Laurel Highlands in the 1930’s.  The director of the property says crews are scanning the walls of the building and injecting grout into areas that need to be sealed, according to the Wall Street Journal.  The repairs are estimated to cost seven-million dollars, roughly 40 times the original construction budget for the house.  The property is offering preservation tours through next month.
