A room on the second floor of the Altoona Grand Hotel was totally destroyed by fire yesterday. According to authorities it appears as if the fire started on a nightstand. The fire caused an evacuation of the motel, as smoke filled the building. Fortunately no one was injured. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
