Man Tries To Conceal Turtle In His Pants To Beat TSA At Newark Airport

The Newark Airport TSA took a Pennsylvania man into custody Friday.  As they were administering a pat-down of the man, they asked if he was hiding anything.  The man then pulled a bundled towel out of his pants to reveal a red-eared slider turtle, measuring about five inches in length.  TSA confiscated the turtle.  The man was escorted out of the airport.  The agency did not explain why the man was trying to smuggle a turtle onto the flight.
