Homegrown Rocker Playlist/Recap 3/30/25

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the March 30 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

We welcomed musical guests in the studio and via phone, as the members of Johnstown-based hard rockers Blood Union joined us! We found out the group’s story and latest happenings, plus discussed their music, live show, creative process and more – and played several of the group’s original songs, as well as their newly-released single, their rocking version of an Alan Parsons Project classic! We also debuted new songs from Sweet Desire, Mellow Honey, Almost Honest and Iron Wolf; updated “Local Music News,” and with Blood Union member Ron Gallucci in the studio, dug out a song from Ron’s 2014 album “Strength” for this week’s “Local Music Flashback.” And we gave away pairs of tickets and Blood Union’s recently-issued self-titled CD to two lucky winners via an email drawing! (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94’s website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on “The Professor’s Classroom,” and then scroll down to “Homegrown Rocker Podcast” and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 033025.)
