Homegrown Rocker April 2025 Schedule
Here’s a listing of what will be happening on the “Homegrown Rocker” during April. Catch the program every Sunday night from 8 to 10 p.m. on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), from 10 p.m. to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm), and via podcast after the show airs on Q94’s website (in “The Professor’s Classroom”).
APRIL 6 – 2025 Blair Creators Festival Preview: Listen in as we preview the upcoming Blair Creators Festival, taking place April 26 at downtown Altoona’s Heritage Plaza. Guests Donna Gority of ArtsAltoona, festival director Bella Rhoades of Penn State Altoona’s Sheetz Fellows program, and area musician and current contestant on Season 27 of NBC Television’s “The Voice” Ethan Eckenroad will join us, and we’ll hear songs from the performing artists at this year’s festival!
APRIL 13 – Emily’s Toybox: We’ll speak with longtime PA party-rock favorites Emily’s Toybox, and find out what craziness you can expect when the group returns to Altoona’s Concordia Society on Saturday, April 19!
APRIL 20 – Samantha Sears: We’ll meet and get to know our in-studio guest, western PA-based singer and songwriter Samantha Sears! She’ll discuss her musical career, live show and her music, and we’ll hear some studio songs and live ones as she plays a few songs for us as well!
APRIL 27 – Buffalo Rose: We’ll speak with members of popular Pittsburgh-based Americana and folk rockers Buffalo Rose, who will be bringing their live show to the stage of The Indiana Theater in Indiana on Friday, May 2!
