Lakemont Park is bringing what many parts of the country consider a 4th of July tradition to Blair County. The 1st Annual 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest, sponsored by Sabrett Hot Dogs and Pacifico Bakery, will take place on Sunday, July 4th at 12:30 on the Green Lawn Stage near Lakeside Cafe. Contestants will vie for the title of Champion by trying to eat the most hot dogs in 10 minutes. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and only the first 10 registrations will be accepted. Registration is $10 and prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants. Admission for spectators will be free. Registration is now open and can be completed online.
