June 25th 1986, Jenifer Lynn Strait, the 13 year old daughter of George and Norma Strait, was killed in a car accident not far from their Texas home. The Strait family and friends set up the Jenifer Lynn Strait Memorial Foundation, which contributes to Texas charities.
