It’s the anniversary of a memorial being built in Blair County to try and end the stigma around drug addiction and remember those who have died from it. The monument, located in Tuckahoe Park in Altoona, is also a symbol of hope for those who are still in recovery. Blair County International Overdose Awareness Day is next Saturday at the Transformation Church in Altoona.
