FORMER COMEDIAN BILL COSBY IS ASKING THE SUPREME COURT NOT TO RE-OPEN HIS SEX ABUSE CASE.

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS IS REPORTING THAT COSBY’S ATTORNEY SAYS THAT THE CASE IS NOT WORTHY OF THE HIGH COURTS TIME, AND THAT IT RESTS ON A NARROW SET OF FACTS. COSBY WAS FREED FROM JAIL LAST YEAR AFTER HIS CONVICTION WAS OVERTURNED. THE PA SUPREME COURT RULED THAT COSBY HAD AN AGREEMENT WITH A FORMER DISTRICT ATTORNEY DURING THE INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGEATIONS OF COSBY DRUGGING AND SEXUALLY ASSAULTING SEVERAL WOMEN. THE ALLEGED AGREEMENT WAS THAT COSBY WOULD NOT BE PROSECUTED FOR GIVING TESTIMONY, BUT THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN. COSBY SPENT NEARLY 3 YEARS IN JAIL AFTER HIS CONVICTION. HIS NEW LAWYER IS ASKING THE U.S. SUPREME COURT TO REJECT THE LATEST ATTEMPT TO RE-OPEN THE CASE.
