For this week’s “Local Song of the Week,” we throw the spotlight onto an artist whose music you’ve heard on the “Homegrown Rocker” for the past couple of years, Duncannon-based singer and songwriter Antonio Andrade. The title song from Antonio’s 2017 CD, “Something Happened” tells the story of something that happened on February 9, 1964, that changed the trajectory of Antonio’s life and ambitions. This performance of the song took place at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance in Chattanooga, Tennessee in May, 2019. Antonio is currently a nominee for Best Solo Male Artist for this year’s 3rd annual Central PA Music Awards (CPMA’s); the winners will be announced during the official awards presentation on March 24 at the Hershey Theater!
