ID Theft Could Lead To Money laundering

ACCORDING TO A STATE POLICE REPORT FROM EBENSBURG, SOMEONE OPENED UP A BANK ACCOUNT AT THE LANGLEY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IN CAMBRIA COUNTY USING THE PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION OF 48 YEAR OLD MICHAEL TESTA OF GALLITZIN. THE SUSPECT THEN DEPOSITED $19,000 INTO THAT ACCOUNT. STATE POLICE SUSPECT THAT THE PERSON WHO OPENED THE ACCOUNT IS USING IT TO LAUNDER THAT $19,000. NO OTHER DETAILS WERE GIVEN, STATE POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTITGATE.
