WJAC REPORTS THAT BECAUSE OF THE CONGRESSIONAL MAP REDRAW THAT PA JUST COMPLETED, REP. FRED KELLER HAS DECIDED NOT TO RUN FOR ANOTHER TERM IN WASHINGTON. THE NEWS COMES JUST ONE WEEK AFTER THE STATE SUPREME COURT SELECTED A NEW CONGRESSIONAL MAP THAT REDRAWS DISTRICTS FOR PA CONGRESSIONAL SEATS. PA LOST ONE SEAT BECAUSE OF FIGURES FROM THE 2020 CENSUS THAT SHOWED A DECLINE IN POPULATION. KELLERS DISTRICT HAS BEEN COMBINED WITH THAT OF REPRESENTATIVE GLENN THOMPSON. KELLER SAID THAT HE DOES NOT WANT TO RUN AGAINST ANOTHER MEMBER OF CONGRESS FOR A SEAT. KELLER WAS ELECTED TO CONGRESS OIN 2019.
