Details are sketchy at this time, but it has been confirmed that fire did break out at the Logan Hills apartments on the 1200 block of S. 27th street, around 6:30 last night. Television news reports indicated that the Red Cross was on the scene, assisting some 22 people who lived in 10 units of the facility. So, far 2 injuries have been reported by one TV news outlet with unknown severity. That report indicated that the 2 people had to be rescued from the complex. The investigation will continue to find the cause.
