The Altoona Mirror reports that police have charged 17 year old Raekwon Meklyah McCrae for taking part in an alleged drug deal last October which resulted in an injury to a woman. The report indicates that McCrea who was 16 at the time, reportedly came to Altoona with 19 year old Tahjir Aneaus Triplin also of Johnstown to sell 3.5 ounces of marijuana to an Altoona man and his mother. Police said that the woman was struck on the head with a gun during the robbery and drug sale. McCrae and Triplin returned to Johnstown after the incident. McCrae’s mother found a handgun in her home, and reported it to police. It turns out that the gun had been stolen from a vehicle in Geistown. Both Triplin and McCrae are facing numerous charges in the case.
