Authorities say one man is in federal custody following an hours-long standoff in Clearfield County Wednesday. State police say the standoff resulted in a large portion of Route 255, between DuBois and Penfield, being closed most of the day.
Sandy Township Police Chief Kriz Kruzelac confirmed state police and U.S. Marshalls were serving a federal search warrant at a home along Old 255, prior to the standoff. The identity of the suspect has not been released.
