A report by WTAJ indicates police arrested 27 year old Cody Bowser of Mt. Union for two separate incidents. The first is the reported theft of a thermal scope valued to be worth some $17,000 from the Pa National Guard armory in Smithfield Twp. The theft was discovered during an inventory check last month. Bowser is alleged to have traded that scope to another person for another scope and cash. State police also reported that they were after Bowser for a reported theft from a residence. He is accused of stealing $1000 cash and two rings worth nearly $5000 from a home in Shirley Twp. He is locked up on felony theft charges.
