Television news reports indicates that more charges have been filed against Jeff Thomas, who is facing trial on rape charges. The reports claim that Thomas is now facing charges of assaulting his wife in May of last year. His wife’s sister told police she received a call from her sister while the assault was in progress. The victim texted her sister to come to a residence in Windber, where she was found with bruises on her head and face. The criminal complaint was filed on April 9th. Thomas is charged in this incident with assault, harassment and reckless endangerment, and he is locked up in the Cambria County prison on $25,000 bail.
