News reports indicated that three people had to be rescued from their stranded vehicle in Frankstown Twp in Blair County. The call went out shortly before 4 pm that two adults and a child were stranded inside of their SUV. Members of the Geeseytown Volunteer Fire Company, along with members of the Cambria Boat team 83 from Portage and rescue personnel from Somerset performed the rescue on Juniata Valley road. All three people who were rescued were not injured. Hollidaysburg ambulance was also on scene.
