Tyrone’s Irish Heritage Weekend will be Friday, March 18th through Sunday the 20th.  The Cookie Crawl, Carriage Rides and Irish Story Time start Friday at 5.  The Lighting of the Shamrock will be at 6; The Altoona Brass Collective play at 6:15 and Fireworks will be at Dusk.  Saturday’s events start with the 5K & 10K Gold Rush Race, the Irish Fashion Dog Show is at 10am (with WTRN’s Debbie Hoy as Judge), the Luck of the Irish Parade is at 2pm and Full Kilt and Hot Waxx will play 7pm at Hookies.  Sunday’s Irish Spiritual Service is 7pm at Wesley United Methodist Church
