Homegrown Rocker June 2025 Schedule
Here’s a listing of what will be happening on the “Homegrown Rocker” during June. Catch the program every Sunday night from 8 to 10 p.m. on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), from 10 p.m. to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm), and via podcast after the show airs on Q94’s website (in “The Professor’s Classroom”).
JUNE 1 – A Trip to the Mailboxes: We’ll again visit the “Homegrown Rocker” mailboxes to discover and explore new local and regional recordings that have arrived in recent weeks! Get ready to hear new tunes from Altoona’s Toy the Band and Pensive Fear, Pittsburgh’s Buffalo Rose, Lancaster’s Lady King & the Aces and Leo DiSanto, western PA’s Iron Wolf and more!
JUNE 8 – More from the Mailboxes: We’ll continue rummaging through the “Homegrown Rocker” mailboxes to discover some more new music! We’ll hear new songs from Johnstown’s Blood Union and more area bands and artists, plus a brand new song from Halestorm’s forthcoming new album!
JUNE 15 – Father’s Day Special: Keeping with “Homegrown Rocker” tradition, we’ll honor area music scene dads on the annual Father’s Day Special! But we’ll also honor music scene moms, sons, daughters, and area music scene family traditions! And we’ll hear several songs where two or three generations of the same family are represented!
JUNE 22 – Allison Borek: We welcome guests into the studio, as Somerset-based teenaged singer and songwriter Allison Borek will visit us, and as a continuation of the Father’s Day Special theme, her father John Borek – himself an area musician – will join her! Allison recently issued her debut vinyl 6-song EP called “Melancholy,” and we’ll hear songs from the record!
JUNE 29 – Coltt Winter Lepley: We welcome to the studio the return of popular Bedford-based singer and songwriter Coltt Winter Lepley! Coltt is set to release his first studio album in July; we’ll discuss the six-song album with Coltt, and hear some songs from it!
