Here are pictures from Thursday (June 24), the first night of the second concert weekend of the PA Roundhouse Rally at Roundhouse Harley-Davidson near Duncansville. The featured band entertainment for this night was Pittsburgh’s Sourmash, “The Baddest Biker Band on the Planet” and recent guests on Q94’s “Homegrown Rocker!” These guys kicked the weekend’s music off in great fashion, firing off their own hard-rocking original songs and classic rocking favorites from Grand Funk Railroad, Deep Purple, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Walsh, Kiss, .38 Special, Blue Oyster Cult and many more! And it’s not very often that you witness a band do the long versions of Skynyrd’s “Free Bird,” the 14-minute version of Peter Frampton’s “Do You Feel Like We Do” and The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again” (their closer) all in the same show! Pictured are the band, a few initial shots of the Harley-Davidson demo fleet, the Allegheny Township Volunteer Fire Company set-up (they were doing prize drawings and 50/50’s, and partial proceeds from the PA Roundhouse Rally wristband sales and Harley Low Rider giveaway ticket purchases helped out the fire company), and the PA Roundhouse Rally emcee tackling a humungous hot sausage sandwich from the Wood Fired food truck vendor – yes, we Q94 types like to eat!
